July seems to have flown by, I can’t believe it’s already August! July was mainly spent watching a lot of football and reading loads of great books. We also finally watched the last season of Orange is the New Black.
The Government says shielding is now over but given that I haven’t left the house in five months I’m not planning on rushing things. I hope to be able to at least go for a short drive with my husband before too much longer.
I had another amazing reading month and finished a lot of books. It helps that my new headphones mean I can listen to audio books again. My 20 Books of Summer has stalled though as I’m struggling to hold physical books for any length of time. I think I only read one of my planned TBR in July and started another. Hopefully I’ll be able to complete my challenge to read 20 physical books.
I read 29 books (mainly ebooks and audiobooks) in July and that came to a total of 10,588 pages. I’m really pleased with how much I read, and how many amazing books I got to in July. I hope August is as good!

How was July for you? I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well and that July has been okay. What was your favourite book from July? I’d love to know what you’ve been reading so please comment below. 🙂
Wow you read so many awesome books!!
July was an excellent reading month! I hope you read some good books too.
You really did have a fantastic reading month, Hayley! What a nice variety of book, and it’s wonderful to know that you were well enough to read a lot, and had those great new headphones for listening. Odd timing – I ordered new headphones, too, and expect them today! Funny how that happens…
It was such an excellent month of reading. August is much slower so far as I’ve started Ducks, Newburyport and it’s over a thousand pages long. It’s really good though. I hope you enjoy your new headphones – I’m loving mine and being able to listen to audiobooks even when my husband is home.
I’ve been meaning to get to the Andrea Levy book for years. So many books, so little time:)
I hope you get to it one of these days, it’s such a good read. 🙂
Amazing month!
Crossing my fingers that you get out for that short drive soon! x
Thank you, I hope so. 🙂 x
Wow 29 books! That’s impressive! I hope your August is just as good!
Thank you, it was a brilliant month of reading. I’m off to a slower start this month as I’m reading Ducks, Newburyport and it’s huge – I’m really enjoying it though.
Wow, 29 is pretty amazing. My favourite July read was ‘ Brave Girl, Quiet’ Girl by Cajtherine Ryan Hyde. Enjoy your August. Take care ❤
It was such a good month of reading. I haven’t read a Catherine Ryan Hyde book in a long while but used to love her writing, I’ll look this one up. 🙂 Hope you have a good August too. Happy reading 🙂 x
July was a great reading month for you! Did you like The Confession by Jessie Burton? I hope to get it soon. 🙂
It was such a good reading month. August is going to be slower as I’m reading such a huge book at the moment. I loved The Confession. I didn’t manage to review it but I very much enjoyed it. It was my first Jessie Burton book but now I want to read everything she’s written. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it.
