I don’t know what I’m going to read for definite this week but the three above are the ones that most appeal to me at the moment.
You have lots of tempting titles. I’m curious about The Gin O’Clock Club.
Here’s MY WWW POST
The Gin O’Clock Club was a fun read. 🙂
Oooooooo I didn’t know Grace Dent had written a memoir! I love her!!
She has and it’s incredible! I couldn’t put it down and 100% recommend it. I hope you love it as much as I did when you get to read it. 🙂
A good range of tempting titles there! I’ve just finished two Persephone books and my first Anne Tyler for the month and I’m reading Sathnam Sanghera’s “Empire Land” and the oldest book on my NetGalley shelf, “Brave, not Perfect” by Reshma Saujani which is about being a woman and stopping expecting too much of yourself. Next up will be another review book for Shiny New Books and another NetGalley book as I just won about a million …
Truth Be Told, Dead Head, and Her Last Holiday all sound so good! Happy reading 🙂
I’m so behind on replying that I’ve now read all three of these books and they were all really good, I recommend them. Thank you 🙂
I’ve heard great things about Black Kids. I hope you love it.
The Black Kids was a good read but it wasn’t quite as good as I was expecting it to be. I still recommend it though.
I LOVED The Immortalists – I hope you’re enjoying it!
I did love The Immortalists! 🙂 I bought it on a whim and I wasn’t sure it was going to be for me and then I got pulled into the story and couldn’t put it down. I keep thinking about it, it really was a beautiful novel.
A wonderful range of books, Hayley! I’m very by The Gin O’Clock Club and The Immortalists. Have a marvellous reading week:).
Thank you 🙂 The Immortalists is a beautiful read, I highly recommend it. It was so much more than I thought it was going to be and I keep finding myself thinking about it.
I’m hoping to read Her Last Holiday soon as well! I always enjoy her books and the blurb of this one sounds brilliant. Happy reading!
Her Last Holiday was a really good read, I enjoyed it and hope you did too. x
I really enjoyed The Split! xx
I did too, it had me hooked all the way through. xx
