Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality, which is all about sharing the books that you’ve acquired in the past week!
Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
I’ve been wanting to read this book ever since I first heard about it so I decided to treat myself this week. I don’t think this will be waiting on my TBR for too long!
Know My Name by Chanel Miller
This is a book that I have read so many positive reviews of so I’ve been wanting to read it. I had a credit on my Amazon account this week and so decided to buy it. I really want to read it right away so I may have started it by the time this is posted.
One by One by Ruth Ware
I really enjoy Ruth Ware’s books so when I saw she had a new novel coming out I immediately requested it on NetGalley. I was thrilled to be approved to read it this week and can’t wait to get to it.
Invisible Woman by Caroline Criado Perez
This is another book that I’ve been curious about for ages. I actually requested it on NetGalley a long time ago and so it was a nice surprise to be approved to read it a few days ago. I’m really keen to pick this up.
It’s All in Your Head by Nikki Smith
I bought this book in the Kindle sale as it just sounded like a fast-paced and gripping thriller. I’ve since read some great reviews so think I’ll be reading this one soon too!
I’d Rather be Reading by Anne Bogel
I read about this book on Jill’s Book Cafe and it sounded like such a lovely book that I decided to buy it. It was only 80p on Kindle and I’m really looking forward to reading it.
Preparations for the Next Life by Atticus Lish
I’ve been going through my very long book wish list this week and deleting books that no longer interest me. At the same time I’ve been spotting books that I’d forgotten about but when I read the blurbs I was still so keen to get the book. This is one of them and I’m really hoping to read this one soon.
Have you acquired any new books this week? I’d love to know what you got. Or have you read any of my new books and recommend I get to any of them sooner rather than later? If you’ve shared a book haul post this week then please feel free to share you link below and I’ll make sure to visit your post! 🙂
I’ve heard great things about Such a Fun Age. I didn’t know Ruth Ware had another book coming! Happy reading 🙂 x
I’ve been so keen to read Such a Fun Age, I hope to pick it up really soon. I’m trying to catch up with review books first but it’s calling to me so I might get to it before long. I stumbled across Ruth Ware’s new one on NetGalley but hadn’t heard anything about it before then. I can’t wait to read it. x
So many tempting titles. I want to add the new Ruth Ware to my shelves, although I haven’t yet read The Turn of the Key. It is headed my way from Amazon, though.
Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
I haven’t read The Turn of the Key yet either but you’ve reminded me that it is on my TBR. I might pick that one up very soon before I read her forthcoming title. I hope you enjoy The Turn of the Key when it gets to you.
I’ve been wondering about Invisible Women for quite a while, too! I know one of my friends was unimpressed, but I’ve heard good things too. Enjoy the new books!
My weekly roundup/Stacking the Shelves post.
I’ve seen a few negative reviews but I’m still so keen to read it as have heard many more good things. I hope to pick it up soon. Thank you 🙂
I’ve heard good things about the Ware, Hayley. I hope you’ll enjoy it. The others look great, too. I’m glad you got a new haul; that just makes anyone’s day, doesn’t it?
Yes new books definitely help brighten our days, especially at the moment. I can’t wait to read the new Ruth Ware, it sounds so good!
Ooh, I will interested to see what you think of Such a Fun Age, and Invisible Women is excellent but will likely make you angry!
I posted pics of my new incomings on Friday though there might have been more since then – those were for review but I also bought both of Ayisha Malik’s pre-“This Green and Pleasant Land” Sopfia Khan novels when I was having a low day last week. Both over 400 pages so look good and absorbing.
I’ve heard that about Invisible Women, I’m so keen to pick it up though. Just need my brain power to be a bit better than it is at the moment.
I’ve heard good things about Ayisha Malik’s novels so will look out for your thoughts on those.
I definitely can’t wait for the new Ruth Ware! My request was denied about two seconds after I hit the request button, but then again I already expected that haha. I hope you will enjoy these! xx
Oh no, that’s a shame.
Thank you, I’m sure I will. xx
