Stacking the Shelves with my new #bookhaul (5 Jan 2019)! Have you added any new books to your TBR this week?

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality, which is all about sharing the books that you’ve acquired in the past week!

I went a bit 1-click happy online on the last day of 2018 so I have quite a few new books to tell you about today.  Thankfully because I bought them at the end of 2018 they were already on my TBR so only a couple of them count towards the TBR I’m starting 2019 with.

Books that I’ve bought in the last week:

The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club by Sophie Green

The Puppet Show by M. W. Craven

I Invited Her In by Adele Parks

Leon and June by June Bernicoff

On A Beautiful Day by Lucy Diamond

Dead Girls by Graeme Cameron

Unbroken by Martine Wright

In Shock by Rana Awdish

Ask Me His Name by Elle Wright

Hotel Silence by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir

The Heretics by Will Storr

In Your Defence by Sarah Langford

A Mind of its Own by Cordelia Fine

Have you bought any new books over the last week? Please tell me below. 🙂 If you join in with Stacking the Shelves please feel free to leave your link and I’ll make sure to read and comment on your post.

  1. You have a lovely selection, Hayley! Lots to enjoy in the new year, and that’s great. I like the mix of bio and other non-fiction in there with the fiction.

  2. I did get quite a few new books this week. I was making up for not getting any new ones for a while. The one I am most looking forward to is Twisted by Steve Cavanagh, though I ony just requested this one!
Too Close looks really good from your list. Happy reading.

  3. I really enjoyed Convenience Store Woman, Hayley. I look forward to what you think. I have the Adele Parks coming up for a blog tour. This is a wonderful haul, and I love how eclectically you read. Enjoy your new books!

  4. Fairvale Ladies is excellent – I had that via NetGalley last year. And Convenience Store Woman keeps appearing in front of my eyes … I managed to acquire a book while officiating at a county level cross country running championship today which is an achievement! It’s Chrissie Wellington’s autobiography and did come from a runner from my club who’d brought it as she knew I’d be there!
